Dr. James R. Winchester

Dr. James R. Winchester has practiced dentistry and served the Columbus and surrounding areas since 1998.
He completed his undergraduate education at The University of Alabama with a degree in Microbiology in 1990. Dr. Winchester received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Tennessee-Memphis in 1994 and completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Memphis in 1995. He also practiced in Centerpoint, Alabama from 1995 to 1998. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia DentalAssociation, and the Western District Dental Society.

Originally from Lanett, Alabama, Dr. Winchester and his wife Traci are proud to call Columbus their home. He and Traci have been blessed with two beautiful daughters and are members of North Highland Assembly of God Church.

Sylvia is from Phenix City, AL. She has been in the dental field since 2007 and has been married since 2001. She has a daughter and a son.

Sbrena was born in Northern CA, and now calls Georgia home. She has been in dentistry, working at Winchester Family Dentistry, since 2009. Not only does she love her job, Sbrena loves all the patients that she now calls friends.

My name is Jamie Pearce. I started in dentistry in 1998. I have two beautiful boys and I love to cook. I am so excited to be part of this wonderful team.

ANNA HERRINGTON

Anna is originally from Moscow, Russia. Prior to moving to the United States in 2008, she attended Moscow State Pedagogical University where she received a degree in adolescent psychology. Most of Anna’s career, in the United States, has been dedicated to the field of dentistry. After practicing as a Dental Assistant, Anna decided that her dedication to the patient experience and quality care would be exemplified as a practicing Dental Hygienist. Anna received her formal education from Columbus Technical College. Anna loves practicing Dental Hygiene, and she makes sure that each of her patients have the absolute best experience possible. In her free time, Anna enjoys outdoors, bowling and spending time with family and friends

JOSIE SWECKER

Josie Swecker has been a Dental Hygienist for 40 years. She received her associates degree in Dental Hygiene and a bachelors degree in General Studies from Columbus State University in 1982. She believes the best parts of being a hygienist are meeting all of the wonderful patients, putting them at ease, and teaching them their health is important. Josie is married and has four children. She loves animals, enjoys spending time with her family and shopping!

JOEY HERRING

Joey has been a Hygienist since 2001. She has been working with Dr. Winchester since 2019. You will find that she is compassionate, able to put her patients at ease, and ensures a positive dental experience. Joey loves her career as a Dental Hygienist and considers all of her patients as family. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and three boys.

ASHLEY DEAN

Ashley has been a hygienist since 2015. She graduated from Wallace State community college winning the hygiene program award and Colgate total achievement award. She loves showing compassion and caring to her patients and teaching them the importance of maintaining their oral health. Ashley is married with one son and enjoys outdoor activities in her free time.

LISA MCDANIEL

Lisa graduated from Columbus college and earned her degree in dental hygiene. She has been dedicated to providing compassionate care since 1990. Outside the office Lisa enjoys staying active, watching a good comedy with her family, and making handmade pasta from scratch.

Edie lives in Taylor County, GA, and is married with children. She has been in the dental field since 2011 and is certified through the GDA.

AMANDA NORTON

Amanda is from Smith Station, AL. Amanda started in orthopedics in 2010 and moved into dentistry in 2019. She has one daughter. When not working she enjoys all things scary.

TRISHA NICKLES

Trisha Nickles is a native of Macon, GA. Trisha attended Georgia State University where she studied History. She moved to Columbus, GA in fall of 2021 and has been in Customer Service since 2009. She is very excited about learning and being able to continue in customer service which she knows is a great strength of hers. Trisha has a passion for live music and the outdoors. She looks forward to meeting all the patients and helping you with all your scheduling and account needs.
